Polymer Pillows or Oil Retention Pillows as they can be known have been designed as a fast and effective response to spills. They soak up hydrocarbons in contained areas of standing water and solidify using smart polymer technology, meaning oils and fuels are retained permanently. The liquids contained won't drain out even when saturated. Suitable for tanks, bunds, and other areas of standing water contained by Absorbent Booms, the Oil Retention Pillows are capable of retaining up to 8 Litres of Hydrocarbons which makes them extremely cost-effective.
